Congratulations! Nine hundred people from the Champaign-Urbana area biked to work and school on May 3, 2011 for Bike to Work Day. Fourteen percent said this was the first time they had ever used their bicycle for transportation to and from work. Bike to Work Day is a yearly event that promotes fitness while helping the environment. There's a good number of people in Champaign and Urbana who bike to work as well as infrastructure support for bike commuting.
