Champaign Farmers’ Market on North First Street

Food, crafts, and music available in downtown Champaign--fun for the whole family!

Bringing fresh and healthy food to the downtown area, this farmers’ market begins its third season on Thursday, June 9. Local vendors will have a wide variety of fresh produce available. LINK cards are accepted. Ask about the Double Value Program for Link purchases.

Produce grown at the Don Moyers Boys and Girls Club Prosperity Garden, located next to the market, will also be available for purchase.  Patrons are invited to take a tour and see what the hardworking young people are growing.

The farmers’ market is meant to be not only a place for buying good tasting and healthy food, but also a resource for a healthier lifestyle. Local non-profits can set up a table for free and promote their organizations and initiatives. Past participants include a blood pressure clinic held by a local health clinic and a bike safety program presented by Safe Routes to School. Contact the Market Manager for details on reserving a table.

Mark your calendar for Thursday afternoons from 3-7 pm and look to the Farmers’ Market for a fresh taste of summer!
