Eastern Illinois Foodbank and Urbana's Market at the Square Team Up
Every summer the Eastern Illinois Foodbank provides an informational booth at the Urbana Farmer’s Market at the Square. The booth is run by volunteers, foodbank board and staff members. Market patrons can ask questions about the Foodbank and also drop off donations. Foodbank volunteers will also be on hand to collect unsold fresh produce from Market vendors who participate in the Farm to Foodbank program.
The Eastern Illinois Foodbank will have a booth at the Farmer’s Market on the following Saturdays:
June 4, 11, 18, 25
July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
August 6, 13, 20, 27
September 3, 10, 17, 24
