Myths

Myth:  You can get the flu from a flu shot.  Fact:  The vaccine is a killed virus.  You can not get the flu from a flu shot.  Myth:  H1N1 vaccine is experimental.  Fact:  The H1N1 vaccine is made the same way by the same manufacturers as seasonal flu vaccine has been.  It is fully licensed by the FDA.  Nothing about it is experimental.  The H1N1 vaccine is safe and it is the best way to prevent H1N1.
